Enrollment at FASN
Three steps of registration: FASN, CNED and American school.
1) FASN registration
You must registrer your child online to FASN from March 15 to June 15.
Late registrations or mid-year enrollments are possible.
Elementary and middle school
- Enrollment at FASN
- Report cards from the past two years and the current year.
High school
- Enrollment at FASN
- Report cards from the past three years and the current year.
For all: ensure that children are up to date on their vaccinations.
2) CNED registration
FASN’s director is in charge of the registration in late June or July, you have nothing to do.
3) American school registration
After your move to Norfolk or Virginia Beach, you must register your child to the american school. This needs to be done in person and with the student, and can’t be anticipated from France.

Middle school and high school enrollment : you will select subjects in the American curriculum with the help of the guidance counselor.
High school’s specific case : you will be asked to submit the certified translated French report cards.
