Parcoursup

The calendar and procedure are the same as for candidates who remain in France. 
However, the data (grades, assessments, etc.) considered on Parcoursup are not the same as for students in France (see the comparison table below), as the student is registered on Parcoursup as a “candidate studying abroad.”  

FASN provides guidance on the registration process.

Remarks : 

  • * The continuous assessment grades from Première are replaced by final exam grades. Since the student enrolled at FASN is registered as an “individual candidate” for the Baccalaureate and as a “candidate attending school abroad” on Parcoursup, the continuous assessment grades from Première are not applicable. Note: A student who chooses to take only the French exams in Première will not have continuous assessment grades to be reported on Parcoursup.

The ability to follow a dual curriculum is a key strength to highlight in the Parcoursup application. This is supported by the FASN report cards, which include both French and American grades, as well as the American report card.
