Preparation

CNED courses and EFAN teachers prepare 9th grade students for the “Brevet des collèges”. In particular, they take “mock” written tests, as they would in France.

Free candidate (or individual) status

Pupils are registered as free candidates for the “Brevet des collèges”. Official exams are held at the Lycée Rochambeau in Washington. The testing schedule is different from that in France (late May-early June).

Taking the tests

Test-taking procedures are identical to those in France.
